"I’ve been with music for many years now, from doing the odd disco here and there for friends to raise cash for new equipment. I often played for the wedding crowd when you had to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves! This is hard work believe me.
For many years as they say ‘I did the circuits’, then for a few years moved to a night club where I stayed until I hung up my slipmats. My real passion was the music from the 60s and early 70s, this music was in my blood, I was lucky enough to live and come through the whole 60s era and loved every minute of it. Of course, the early 70s and the glam rock scene was great stuff too.
Now you will find me here doing live shows again, back to square one as they say, but still loving my music, I like the live interaction with people.
That’s a little bit about my music background, I hope you enjoy my shows as much as I enjoy doing them."
"Hey! I'm Ross and I'm an actor, originally from Leicester, I studied theatre at Coventry University before training as an actor at ArtsEd In London. Since then I have performed in all sorts of projects, from touring immersive theatre arena shows, to Channel 4 short films, it has been eventful so far and now I find myself part of the fantastic team here at Qube Radio and I am extremely excited to see what lies ahead. I am a massive lover of sports, a loyal and passionate Coventry City supporter, it has certainly been a rocky road, but excited to be back in the Championship!! If you love football then be sure to join me on Saturday mornings for the Football Show!"
Originally from Manchester (via Durham and London), Will's love affair with music began in the back of the car as a kid (because he couldn't hear what the grown-ups were saying in the front), and has shown no signs of stopping since then. He has worked as a performer for the past 14 years, touring the world and doing his best to avoid doing anything sensible. In recent years, he has adopted Kettering as his new home town, so it seems only right that he fills Northamptonshire's air waves with his chirpy northern tones! When not putting a severe dent in the tea and biscuit supply at Qube Towers, Will can often be found lending his singing voice to vocal groups including The Choir Of Man, The Brit Tones, The Eastcoast Boys, and The Somebodys.
Simon’s passion is music, his taste and knowledge is extremely wide. Added to his skill to entertain hundreds of people on a regular basis with a huge musical abililty under his belt you can be assured that every one of Simon's shows will be full of great music and music knowledge, "if you can understand my Yam Yam tone..." he would like to add.

"My own aspiration is to work within the broadcast media industry and radio programming. I always have the ambition to become a podcast and radio programme creator, generating new ideas and creations for easy listening shows so I am really looking forward to my future with Qube Radio, following my passion for music and working closely to my fellow presenters and listeners."
Darren James is a veteran DJ from Daventry in Northamptonshire primarily recognized for his work in the dance industry and now making the leap into radio. Touring with Euphoria Albums in the early noughties and guest DJing all over the world, he cut his teeth on turntables playing at countless raves in the 90s. Just about every high street bar and club in Northamptonshire in the 90s and 00s saw a stint from Darren and he held many residencies in most of them.
As well as producing his own music as Assertion, Mass Distraction and Attic Antics, he is also a writer, screenwriter, and graphic designer when it all gets a "bit too loud".
Though his DJing career always had a firm foot in house and dance music, his love of 80s electronica and new wave has always influenced his music choices and producing, but he likes all kinds of music; especially unheard rare indie tracks, and all genres can be heard in his sets and "free-form" shows.
After a long and successful stint at Daventry Radio, he now joins Qube radio.
His past shows and mixes can be heard on his Mixcloud page, 'attic-sessions' if you like Indie and House.

Matthew "Matty" Hughes
"Hello, I'm Matthew, I live in Wakefield, near Leeds. It's a privilege to be able to DJ on such a fabulous radio station. I've been a mobile DJ since 2013 and always had a passion for music from a young age. I've always had an interest in Radio, and when growing up, I used to record myself on to a cassette tape, and mini-discs latterly, and play it to my friends as if I was on the radio. As far as music taste goes, I love most genres, I particularly like my 70s 80s and 90s but I also enjoy Motown and Dance music too. Don't be surprised if you hear the odd pop and crackle as I do like to throw the odd Vinyl record in here and there."
She said "You'll never get me doing that!"
